About Me

I started my hairdressing career over 12 years ago, as an apprentice at a small salon in Holmes Chapel. I attended Micheal John Training School in Manchester alongside working at the salon, and received my NVQ level 2 and 3.

After my first year at the salon, I was given the opportunity to cover for the Colour Technician whilst she took maternity leave. This is where my passion for colour began.

In 2010, I started at a Hair Extension specialist salon. There I attended numerous extension courses, and worked with some of the biggest hair extensions brands.

I am a big believer that as a Hairdresser you can never stop learning. I have attended many courses throughout my career; including Afro Caribbean hair cutting, bridal masterclasses, balayage masterclasses and barbering.

I am always looking to gain new skills, and want to ensure I give my clients the best results possible.

It has always been my dream to open my own salon, so when the opportunity came up to open Salon Collective with my business partner Georgia, I had to go for it. I absolutely love our salon, and so proud of what we have done with the space.

Having recently gained my teaching qualification, I will soon be offering training courses, and cannot wait to start sharing what I'm so passionate about with others.
